   Dr. John Betournay , the retired pastor of the First Congregational Church of Meredith , testified he had never witnessed a funeral attended by 800 to 900 people.
   
   In 25 years I have never seen anything like it. It was so deeply touching , he said.
   
   Betournay recalled the Harts joined the church in December 1990 and that he had baptized the couple's three boys. Glenn Hart served on the stewardship committee that helped raise money for the church and was known for his generosity , Betournay said.
   
   Whenever there was a need , it seems a turkey would show up , the pastor testified.
