Dr. Louis Beto Louis M. (Macky) Beto, DMD, is a native of Danville, Kentucky, graduating from Danville High School, in 1972.He obtained his B.A. in Chemistry, graduating cum laude, from Wake Forest University in 1976.Dr. Beto graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1981.His residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was performed at the Temple University Hospital, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, finishing in 1984.He then started in private practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Danville, Kentucky in July of 1984, and has practiced there since then.

Dr. Beto is experienced in and enjoys all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and has years of experience placing dental implants.He attends continuing education courses annually to keep abreast with current techniques and stay proficient in established techniques.His emphasis on continuing education is important to him, and is also demonstrated by the courses that his office provides for the dentists and their staff in his referral area.Dr. Beto is currently on staff at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Ft. Logan Hospital, Haggin Memorial Hospital, and is on voluntary faculty of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and Hospital.His office has served as the extern site for University of Kentucky dental students.

Dr. Beto is a diplomate of many professional organizations, including the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 1987, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the American Society of Dental Anesthesia.He is also on the board of directors of Farmers' National Bank, of Danville, Kentucky.

Dr. Beto is married and lives with his wife and 3 sons.He enjoys golf, tennis, soccer and activities involving his children, including coaching youth soccer for many years.

A life-long resident of the county and a graduate of Danville High School, Beto practices oral and maxillofacial surgery in the firm of Beto & Bogardus, PLLC.He attended Wake Forest University, the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and the College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Temple University.

His civic activities include coaching in the Bluegrass Youth Soccer Association and being the secretary of the organization.He is a member of the Danville-Boyle County Chamber of Commerce.

He resides in Danville with his wife, Maureen, and their sons, Christopher, Louis and Jonathan.
