The Return of Sancho the Bandit King Don Bethman started out as a freelance graphic artist living in Delaware. When he graduated from college ( Virginia Commonwealth University ) he became increasingly disappointed with doing work for others , and decided to create his own comics. He combined this with his love of cinema , and especially of the actor Eli Wallach ( from The Good , the Bad and the Ugly' , and other movies ) . Getting in contact with Eli , this eventually resulted in a comic series that is presented as movies-on-paper , with Eli in the leading role. In 1998 Bethman founded Grey Blossom Sequentials , the name under which he's self-publishing Paper Cinema'. In October of 98 it received the Xeric Foundation award.
