   Gregg B. Betheil (gregg@naf.org) is the Vice President - Academy Programs with the National Academy Foundation (NAF), a nonprofit intermediary organization whose mission is to sustain a national network of career academies.Gregg leads the NAF Academy Programs Team, responsible for the oversight and support of its over 600 Academies of Finance, Travel & Tourism and Information Technology nationwide.These Academies have an enrollment exceeding 38,000 students in 40 states and the District of Columbia.His responsibilities include management of curriculum, staff development, advisory board development and the internship program, as well as overall quality assurance.Before his appointment as Vice-President, he served as the NAF National Director of the Academy of Information Technology.
   
   Prior to joining NAF, Gregg served as Assistant Principal of Martin Luther King, Jr. High School in New York City.

   As a member of the senior management team, Mr. Betheil oversees academy and school operations at NAF, responsible for the oversight and support of NAF's 529 Academies of Finance, Travel & Tourism, and Information Technology nationwide.The Academies enroll over 50,000 students in 40 states and the District of Columbia.His responsibilities include oversight of academy field services, school and district relations, new school development, curriculum and staff development, advisory board development and the internship program.Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, he served as National Director of the Academy of Information Technology.
