   A graduate of Holyoke Community College, Bonnie Beth is enrolled in the RN to BSN program at University of Massachusetts Amherst. A recipient of the 1999 MNA Preceptor Award to Generic Nursing Students, she states "my goals are to broaden my awareness of multicultural issues surrounding nursing care in settings other than the hospital, to learn more about research and nursing and how to apply this knowledge to bedside nursing and community nursing." Employed at "The Birthplace" at Franklin Medical Center, she works as a Certified Perinatal Nurse. In this position, she serves as caregiver and teacher of patients, new nurses, staff and nursing students. Bonnie is an active member of the Franklin Medical Center Bargaining Unit having served as unit representative, vice chair and was in charge of membership. She has been a member of the MNA District One Board of Directors since 1998, is a member of the District One Legislative Committee and Nurse Plan.
