   E. Raman Bet-Mansour is a partner with Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and a member of the firmâ€s Mergers & Acquisitions, Securities, and International Practice Groups. Mr. Bet-Mansourâ€s practice focuses on international mergers and acquisitions, and securities offerings. He also has extensive experience with international joint ventures, and debt and project financings.
   
   Mr. Bet-Mansour joined Debevoise as an associate in 1989 and was resident in the firmâ€s Paris office from 1993 through February 1998.
   
   Mr. Bet-Mansour received his B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University in 1985, where he majored in Political Science. He received an M.A. in International Affairs from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of The Johns Hopkins University in 1986. Mr. Bet-Mansour is a graduate of Columbia Law School, where he received his J.D. in 1989. He is fluent in French and Farsi (Persian).
