   ELMSFORD, NY-- June 3, 1999-- MIM Corporation (NASDAQ:MIMS) an independent pharmacy benefit management (PBM) and prescription mail service company, today announced the appointment of Robert L. Bestvina, as president of its Continental Managed Pharmacy Services subsidiary. Mr. Bestvina's appointment is in keeping with the Company's strategic plan to expand its mail service facility beyond its traditional PBM business and into fulfillment services for affinity partners.

   Mr. Bestvina, 46, was previously employed as vice president and general manager for Merck-Medco Rx Services of New Jersey, where he was responsible for designing, building and staffing at the company's multimillion dollar federal employment facility (FEP). Prior to his tenure with Merck-Medco, he served as general manager of Caremark Inc.'s largest mail service pharmacy in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Mr. Bestvina has also held senior level operations positions at FedEx Corporation in Memphis, Tennessee and Chicago, Illinois.
