   Teresa is the Director of Adult Education and Fiscal Compliance for the Division of Community Colleges and Workforce Education.She is responsible for the administration of general adult education services, statewide reading initiatives, English Literacy and Civics programs, family literacy and other initiatives and programs related to adult education services.She assists with the formulation and modification of policies and procedures related to program planning and administration, coordinates the state plan for adult education services throughout Florida, and is responsible for the accurate and timely submission of all required reports.The Fiscal Compliance Team, responsible for the fiscal review of all programs administered by the Division, is another integral part of her unit.
   
   She graduated with a degree in English from Florida State University.Teresa is former teacher of English, and has a number of years of work experience in management and training in private industry, primarily publishing.She joined the Department of Education in 1990.
