   Richard Best graduated from Alfred University, Alfred NY, with a BA degree and was active in ROTC, retiring as a Captain in the US Army Reserves. Dick retired from JCPenney, corporate advertising department, in 1995. Dick brings the wisdom of his 37 years with JCPenney and the previous experience of serving on the Elder and Deacon Boards of his home church in NJ. He and his wife Carol have been married 42 years. They served as Minichurch leaders at Fellowship Bible Church North for 6 years and Dick was part of the Advisory Team during the planning and preparation for the beginning of McKinney Fellowship Bible Church. They have 5 children and 10 grandchildren. Currently, Dick is serving as Chairman of the Building Committee for McFBC.
