Best, who has served on the board for four years, is plant engineer at Crown Cork and Seal in Bradley.He graduated with a trade school degree in electronics and is plant engineer for Crown Cork and Seal.He and his wife Nancy have one daughter.

Incumbent Richard Best has served on the board for four years.A plant engineer for Crown Cork and Seal, Best lives in Camelot subdivision.

He said he is seeking a second term because "I enjoy being involved with the school.I'd like to see the school project through and that's why I decided to run again."

Best said the goal of the board is to get the project built within the budget and to make sure students have the highest standards of education they can have within the district."

He also wants to ensure the children are prepared academically for high school.

He and his wife Nancy have one daughter, Ericka, a seventh grader at the school.They are members of the St. Teresa Church.
