Margie was born in Chicago, Ill., but lived most of her life in Lauderdale County. She was a 1986 graduate of Coffee High School and active in the chorus. She also won many chorus medals. She was certified in CPR and AED and a member of Central Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. Margie also coached T-ball for her daughter's team as well as the adult co-ed team. One of Margie's proudest times was a part she played in saving the life of a 16-year-old boy last year after a four-wheeler wreck.
She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel A. Bryant; grandfather, Jim Orrick; grandmother, Cecile Bryant; and grandfather, Artist Bryant.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence. Officiating the service will be Brother Bobby Stancil. Burial will follow at Harris Chapel Cemetery in Cherokee. The family received friends Wednesday evening.
