   Geoff Best is the Director of YPLS as well as the Managing Director of the Ottawa-Carleton Education Network (OCENET), a non-profit corporation established by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) to develop programs and promote its schools internationally. He works with administrators, principals, teachers, and the local community to develop and provide quality educational programs for international students and teachers.
   
   Geoff has accumulated a wide variety of experiences in his 18 years as an educator. He has taught in the private and public sectors in both Canada and Japan. Following five years of teaching in Japan, he worked as the Managing Director of an educational services company in Vancouver, providing school referral services, homestay, farmstay and short-term educational programs across Canada to a wide variety of international clients. Geoff also worked as the Director of a language school that he helped establish in the Banff area.
