   Cornelius Best graduated from Campbell University in May 1998 with a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. He began his career in healthcare as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) with Pharmaceutical Product Development, Inc. (PPD) which provides support to pharmaceutical companies in the areas of discovery, development, and post-approval services. In May 2002 Best obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Research from Campbell University. His education and work experience lead him to his current position with Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development & Commercialization (OPDC) as a regionally based Global Lead CRA. In his current role, Best manages the daily operational aspects of a global protocol dealing with various therapeutic areas. In order to effectively manage these global studies, he is required to interact from a distance with expert physicians, clinical site staff, and CRO/vendor personnel.
