   Alice is an experienced Family Law attorney and is certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Family Court Mediator. She has an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest professional level attainable based on her years of experience in Family Law and the endorsement by her colleagues in the areas of professional conduct, ethics and ability. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and Colorado, and has been admitted as a member of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court.
   
   Alice was a gubernatorial appointee to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Third District Court of Appeal of Florida from1995-2000. The prestigious nine-member Commission investigates and interviews judicial candidates for appointment to the Appellate Bench for Dade and Monroe Counties. She also served as a Dade County Civil Traffic Infraction Hearing Officer from January 1996 through March 1999.
   
   She is a graduate of Barry University (B.S. 1983) and the University of Miami School of Law (J.D. 1986), and served as an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University in the Paralegal Studies program. Prior to practicing law, Alice spent 10 years as a legal secretary and Certified Legal Assistant.
   
   Alice now considers herself to be a "recovering divorce lawyer" and remains an active member of the International Alliance of Holistic Lawyers. After 10 years of handling only divorce and child custody cases, she closed a successful law practice to follow her dream. She now finds it more rewarding to work with people and assist them in solving their own problems, thus enabling them to regain control and power over their own lives, without placing blame on anyone. Holistic law looks at the totality of the picture and the consequences of actions, and is a focus of what Alice speaks about in her lectures to groups about relationships and how to handle family cases in a positive fashion.

   There have been many times messages have been validated by my clients, but the most significant validation for me was from my twin soul, Alice. Several years ago, we were in San Francisco presenting a Twin Soul workshop and Spirit Message Circle. We'd also scheduled private readings and Alice, hearing all the messages coming through for others, was feeling a little left out. "Your readings are becoming so accurate and specific for everyone. I'd like you to do a reading for me," she asked me one morning. "Sure," I said, "but let's go have some coffee and breakfast first." "Great," she replied as we went downstairs to the hotel restaurant. Now I have to go back about 3 years earlier to a conversation when Alice had asked for a specific message. She said if I was truly in touch with the other side, I should get in touch with her best friend Sherril who had passed seven years before from cancer. I was supposed to ask Sherril to tell me her high school sorority pledge name. All I knew was there were several words in the name, and only Alice and Sherril, who'd been best friends since 5th grade, would remember what they were. My reply was "Yeah, right! I have no idea what her pledge name was, but I will give it a try." Then I told her, "Sherril says she won't give it to me right now. It's not her place to make you a believer. This, she says, you will have to do on your own." "What a cop out," Alice said, "I do believe, but it would be nice to have some specific confirmation like your clients get." Then, one morning about 6 months later Alice was getting ready to go to her office when, out of the blue she asked, "Hey, how about trying to get Sherril's pledge name again?" "Okay," I said slowly. I sat down on the bed, went into a meditative state and these words popped out of my mouth: "OK Froggy, show me your face". It was as if someone had grabbed Alice and spun her around as she was walking into her closet. "What did you say?" she asked with a startled look on her face. "‘OK Froggy, show me your face' is what I said," I told her repeating the phrase.

   So there we were, seated across the breakfast table from each other, when Alice said, "Today is Sherril's birthday and she would have been 49 years old.

   I asked Alice. Wide eyed, she said, "Yes it is, now what is the other word?"

   Alice had finally received the confirmation she needed for so long.

   In early 1999, Alice and I were living in South Florida and were in the process of editing our first book, Together Again. I had already begun doing research on the next book, which included going into deep meditations and contacting my guides and teachers on the Other Side. During this time period I gave a reading to a woman named Margie whose mother, Belle, came through incredibly strong and began telling her things that were, as had become the norm, very accurate about her life and what she had been doing. Margie became very wide eyed and looked surprised, like a deer caught in the headlights. I stopped the reading for a moment to make sure she was okay when she said very slowly, "But my mother is still alive -- she is still here! How can she be communicating with you?
