   Mr. Best has been a recording artist and songwriter for over 15 years. He has been signed to recording agreements with Buck-N-Run Entertainment, AV8 Records and Chrome Dome Records (a label owned by Tommy Boy Records). As a songwriter and sideman-recording artist/performer, Mr. Best (p/k/a Al-Tariq, a.k.a. Mzundastood) has written for and recorded with three-time platinum R&B trio Soul IV Real, the multi-hit artist Chubb Rock and the once reggae sensation Shinehead. Throughout his music career Mr. Best has been managed and mentored by Barry Roberts, General Manager of Nile Rodgers' Sumthing Distribution Company and now President of FP MediaWorks, Inc.

   Mr. Best has taken his knowledge and experience in this record industry along with his passion for music, entrepreneurial skills and love for self-empowerment to the next level with FP. For years, he has been recruiting talented producers, singers and hip hop artists. Taken these artists and teaching them a side of the industry that most people don't think exist anymore! An honest, pure, passionate and integrity based side of the music industry.
