   Bruce Bessert - A graduate of Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska, Bruce Bessert currently serves as visiting instructor of Chemistry in the department of natural sciences at Concordia University Wisconsin.
   
   Bruce has served in Lutheran and public education for over 25 years, teaching natural sciences and computer literacy in a variety of locations, environments, and grade levels. Throughout his career, he has maintained a strong interest in technology literacy and the use of technology in education, and has provided support and instruction for students from primary grades through graduate programs, as well as for professional colleagues. Most recently, he has served as the executive director of LIVES Education, a virtual education initiative of the South Wisconsin District-LCMS, and continues in that role on a limited basis.
   
   Bruce also has an ongoing passion for experiential education, and provides educational travel experiences for schools, churches, and families through his travel firm, Classrooms Afield LLC, to destinations such as Washington DC, Space Camp, Catalina Island Marine Institute, New York City, New Orleans, and Central America.
