   Joel Bess , Managing Partner As Managing Partner of Bess Investment Group , Joel Bess has , together with his fellow directors , built one of the most effective and prestigious financial planning/advising and investment management organizations in the western United States.
   
   Joel's responsibilities are primarily directed at guaranteeing the continued success of the firm and its clientele , both qualitatively and quantitatively. He focuses a significant amount of his expertise on the coordination and overall direction of the firm , but is equally committed to serving individual clients through comprehensive research and personal attention.
   
   Upon completing his undergraduate degree , Joel attended the Dexter University Graduate School of Business , where he specialized in Investments and Taxation and was named the Outstanding MBA. Following graduation , he went on to obtain the Certified Financial Planner designation through postgraduate study in the fields of investment , insurance , and retirement and estate planning.
   
   Mr. Bess has served as a director of Charitable Leadership Foundation , Men in Production , and is a member of many charitable organizations. Currently , Joel is on the Board of Directors of the Agora Symphony Orchestra , the Tudor Place School , and enjoys his involvement with many other charitable organizations around the state , including the Children's Museum of Los Angeles , the Los Angeles Museum of Art , various colleges , and others. He is also a member of the CA School of Business Center of Entrepreneurship Board of Advisors and is a frequent featured speaker across the country , focusing on his specialty in the fields of family services , financial planning , and investment management.
