   OZ, a consumer mobile messaging solution provider, has appointed named Michel Besner as its new senior vice president of marketing.Mr Besner will report directly to Jim Knapik, president and CEO of the company.

   Prior to joining OZ, Mr Besner was a senior director at Autodesk, a provider of 2D and 3D design software for the manufacturing and media markets.While at Autodesk, he was responsible for overseeing the 3D entertainment and design visualization product line.
   
   Mr Besner also co-founded and served as president of Kaydara, a provider of products and technologies for real-time authoring and delivery of 3D digital media content.The company was acquired by Alias Systems in 2004.
