   Ben is a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada where he obtained a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering (Communications). He joins BJAC after an extensive aviation career in engineering, maintenance, purchasing and sales spanning almost 40 years. He is also a long time member of the Ordre des Ingenieurs du Quebec (Quebec Order of Engineers).
   
   Ben began his successful aviation career as a Telecommunications Officer in the RCAF, as a Maintenance Engineer on airborne and ground radars. After a five year stint in the Air Force, he joined Air Canada as an Avionics Engineer, where he completed a number of assignments in Engineering. Ben then became a Manager in the Purchasing & Supply branch, was a Purchasing Manager, then Manager, Warranty Administration. After a few years, he moved on to Aircraft Programs as Manager, Aircraft Marketing & Contracts, mainly responsible for the sale of Air Canada's surplus aircraft, as well as leasing and acquisition activities.
   
   In 1994, Ben was promoted to the position of Director, Supply and Purchasing Services, leading a team of 325 managers, supervisors and stock keepers engaged in all aspects of stocking and distributing the Corporation's inventory across Canada and the world. Three years later, he became the Director, Component Maintenance, leading a team of 500 managers, engineers and technicians responsible for the repair and overhaul of the fleet's LRU's
   
   Ben continued his professional development over the years, having completed many industry related courses, including: - Professional Aviation Management (Air Canada / McGill University) - Six Sigma Green Belt (Air Canada / GE) - Certificate in Translation (McGill University)
   
   In his spare time, Ben actively participates in several sports, and likes to travel, fish, and cook.
   
   At BJAC, Ben will fill the position of Manager of Corporate Sales (North America & Europe).
