   MINNEAPOLIS –January 3, 2000– McKessonHBOC Medical Group today announced Gail Beske has been promoted to vice president of Finance for Extended Care. Most recently, Beske held the position of director of Pricing, Planning & Analysis.
   
   Beske joined Red Line Healthcare in 1992 as director of Planning and Analysis. She has been actively involved in strategic planning ; budgeting and forecasting ; business analysis ; acquisitions and divestitures ; development and implementation of pricing strategies ; pricing and rebates administration ; market/competitive analysis ; financial control and auditing. Beske also has experience in re-engineering processes and re-inventing functions.
   
   Gail has more than 20 years of experience in financial management. Her strengths have been recognized and we look forward to her continued contributions as vice president of Finance, said Gary Keeler, president of Extended Care for McKessonHBOC's Medical Group.
   
   Beske is a member of the President's Club at Extended Care, which recognizes two individuals each year for key contributions to the organization. Prior to joining Red Line, Beske worked for Northgate Computer Corporation for three years and General Mills for 10 years.
   
   Beske received her master's in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management – Thunderbird, in Glendale, Ariz. She earned a bachelor's degree in French and German from Central College in Pella, Iowa.
   
   The Extended Care Division of McKessonHBOC's Medical Group became the largest supplier to the long-term care and homecare markets in November 1998 after the acquisition of Red Line Healthcare by McKessonHBOC.
