   Mr. Besel graduated from Windsor High School in 1968 and from Colorado State University with a business administration degree.
   
   On Sept. 18, 1982, he married Cheryl Lichty in Rawlins, Wyo.
   
   A devoted family man who dearly loved his wife and children, Mr. Besel was gentle and loving and never judged anyone. Because of his height, he was judged as an imposing and stubborn man with a strong will who wanted things done his way.
   
   Mr. Besel loved the outdoors, hunting, riding and training horses, rodeos and professional bull riding. He organized the Environmental Energy Construction in the early 1980s. He started and built his own business, H20 Industries and Controls Equipment from scratch. He was past president of the Bank of Hanna.
