Anne D. Berube is an associate in McKenna & Cuneo's Washington, D.C. office. She joined the firm in 1998 and is a member of the environmental department concentrating in environmental litigation and counseling.
Since coming to the firm, Ms. Berube has participated in toxic tort litigation and data compensation arbitration. In addition, she has counseled clients regarding the requirements of major environmental statutes, including the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Clean Air Act (CAA), the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) and the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Ms. Berube also has experience with U.S. Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) health and safety requirements and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) hazardous materials regulations.
Ms. Berube is active in the firm's pro bono program and has represented clients in a variety of family law matters including divorce, visitation, child custody and child support.
Ms. Berube is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School, where she was an articles editor for The Environmental Lawyer and a member of the Moot Court Board. She is the author of Requirements for Constructed or Reconstructed Major Sources of Hazardous Air Pollutants: Regulations for MACT Determination under Section 112(g) of the Clean Air Act, The Environmental Lawyer (September 1997) and the co-author of the RCRA chapter in the 2000-2001 Wiley Environmental Law Update. Prior to law school, Ms. Berube worked as assistant editor at Environment magazine and as editorial assistant and assistant editor at the Journal of Forestry.
