   According to Bruce Bertsch, Metech's vice president for research and development, the line of silver pastes offers some special capabilities to users.
   
   "Adjusting viscosities is a normal part of our manufacturing process," Bertsch said. "Developing a vehicle system that allows the same material to be screen printed, dipped or sprayed while maintaining a uniform dispersion was more of a challenge.
   
   "Our silver pastes fire to a high density, which provides excellent electrical properties, such as the very high conductivity that is important to ComNav Engineering.
   
   Another key feature of this material cited by Bertsch is its adhesion to a wide range of ceramic substrates.
   
   "We have found equally excellent adhesion to both alumina and a variety of titanate substrates."
   
   "These features," Bertsch pointed out, "combined with the exceptional density of the fired film, contribute significantly to the electrical characteristics critical to high frequency applications
