Robin is the team lead for bitumen and heavy oil evaluation.He is responsible for the supervision and coordination of independent evaluations used for corporate reporting and acquisition disposition purposes.

Qualifications

Robin is a professional engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.He has worked in a number of evaluation, production and reservoir engineering positions with Talisman Energy Inc.Since 1997, Robin has been providing engineering consulting services to both western Canadian and international clients through Ashton Jenkins & Associates and now AJM.As an innovative petroleum engineer, Robin brings extensive and varied experience in reservoir exploitation, field development, reserve determination and economic evaluations to the team.Robin is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers, and the Petroleum Society of Canada (formerly known as the Petroleum Society of CIM).

Professional Experience

Before joining Ashton Jenkins & Associates in 1997, Robin was working as a Development Engineer for Talisman Energy.His progressive experience includes the roles of Reservoir Engineer, Facility/Production Engineer, Operations Engineer and Development Engineer.He began his career in 1985.

Robin is a professional engineer with over 16 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1985 and worked in a number of evaluations, production and reservoir engineering positions with Talisman Energy Inc.Since 1997 Robin has been providing engineering consulting services to both western Canadian and international clients through Ashton Jenkins & Associates and now Ashton Jenkins Mann.

Robin is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA), and the Petroleum Section of the Canadian Institute of Mining (CIM).
