   Rick Bertram, Senior Vice President and Senior Lender at Bank of the Southwest, has 22 years of banking experience with six of those years at Bank of the Southwest. He also spent two years with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He has attended the National Commercial Lending School and numerous other banking related courses. Mr. Bertram has expertise in commercial and consumer lending, collections, government guaranteed lending, loan marketing, and the lending regulatory environment. He was raised in New Mexico and understands the intercultural nature of the State and the responsibility financial institutions have to serve all the people as required by our charter.
