Dorothea Bertram
12/27/2003 - WESTFIELD - Dorothea F. Bertram, 93, of Heritage Village, Gerry, formerly of 53 S. Portage St., Westfield, died at 2:30 a.m. Friday (Dec. 26, 2003) in her home. She was born Jan. 19, 1910, in Westfield, the daughter of Adelbert S. and Philla Stokes Fitch.
She was a graduate of Fredonia Normal School and owned and operated Bertram's Antiques in Westfield for many years. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Mayville, the Chautauqua County Historical Society and the Chautauqua Township Historical Society in Mayville. She had also been a member of the the Antique Dealers Association and served as village historian for Mayville for several years.
She loved children, in years past she was an avid bowler, golfer and enjoyed riding horses.
She is survived by several friends. -
