Laurent Bertaux joined the Company in September 1998 as Managing Director of Brightstar Bolivia.Mr. Bertaux was responsible for developing the sales, administrative, financial and operative aspects of the operation in Bolivia from the ground up.

Prior to joining Brightstar, Mr. Bertaux served as Executive Director of D&M, a company engaged in production and distribution of beverages in Bolivia, and as Marketing Director of Seguros la Boliviana Ciacruz, the largest insurance company in Bolivia.

Mr. Bertaux holds a degree in Journalism from the Journalism Institute of Paris, France.
