Ms. Eve Berry

The day-long training event will be led by Eve Berry, vice-president of The Grantsmanship Center. Ms. Berry has extensive training experience in corporate, educational, government and nonprofit arenas. In working with symposium cosponsors, Ms. Berry has emphasized the need for the symposium to offer participants hands-on work in developing outcomes within an appropriate planning context. Additionally, she says, “The conference is designed to ‘lead by example,’ producing measurable outcomes of the attendees and the organizations they represent.” Registration materials will be mailed during mid-March.

At a recent symposium for social services providers in Columbus, Ohio, Grantsmanship Center trainer Eve Berry explained how to integrate outcome evaluation into the program planning process.

Keynote speaker Eve Berry, of the Grantsmanship Center, presented the planning process MHSC had developed with her help.

According to Berry, "One of the key strengths of this process is its focus on people and their conditions. She explained that often in her work with nonprofits throughout the country she finds that agencies focus on their own survival instead of the people they serve. "In this day and age," she continued, "human services providers and funders have to be able to document the change in people produced by their programs.
