Erin Berry

ERIN BERRY grew up in Maine.In high school she played soccer, basketball and lacrosse.She excelled in lacrosse and in her senior year of HS she was voted All American.She was captain of her college team at George Washington University, and still holds many career records for her team.She was named to the Atlantic 10 All Conference Team 3 times, and was voted Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year in her senior year at GW.Her major was International Affairs and Economics.She moved to Los Angeles 1 ½ years ago.She is now a first grade teacher at 122nd Street Elementary School.

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Sophomore midfielder Allison Frengs of Temple and George Washington senior defender Erin Berry have been named the 2005 Atlantic 10 women's lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively, in voting conducted among the Conference's head coaches.

Berry serves as team captain and has started every game in helping the Colonials earn their first-ever berth in the Atlantic 10 Championship.The senior from South Berwick, ME, established a school record with her 45 ground balls this season.She also caused 24 turnovers in earning team MVP honors in 2005.
