PHILADELPHIA, PA - Sophomore midfielder Allison Frengs of Temple and George Washington senior defender Erin Berry have been named the 2005 Atlantic 10 women's lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively, in voting conducted among the Conference's head coaches.

Berry serves as team captain and has started every game in helping the Colonials earn their first-ever berth in the Atlantic 10 Championship.The senior from South Berwick, ME, established a school record with her 45 ground balls this season.She also caused 24 turnovers in earning team MVP honors in 2005.
