Biography of A. Kevin Berry
Mr. Berry joins the Foundation as its new Deputy Executive Director, and brings with him a wealth of experience in general and financial public/media relations, marketing, community and government affairs.
He has served as a consultant to a number of different organizations in both the public and private sector including the New York City Board of Education, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and the federal government's Community Development Agency.He was Senior Assistant Press Secretary to New York City Comptroller Elizabeth Holtzman, a marketing manager for Air Afrique Airlines, and Director of Public Affairs for New York City's Agency for Child Development.
Mr. Berry has also had extensive international experience having worked in the Economic/Commercial section of the American Embassy in Tunis, Tunisia and as a Special Intern at the Paris Office of the former Chemical Bank.
Mr. Berry holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Princeton University and a Master's degree in Public Affairs from Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.Additionally, he has completed a year of study at the Institut D'Etudes Politiques in Paris, France.
