NORTH OGDEN - Boyd R. Berrett, 88, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away Monday, September 6, 2004 at Crestwood Care Center in Ogden.

He was born September 21, 1915 at his home in North Ogden, the son of Marlon H. and Stella Barker Berrett.

On May 13, 1937, Boyd married Viola Kofoed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Boyd was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints North Ogden 9th Ward.He served in the Elder's Quorum Presidency, Sunday School Presidency and was a Home Teacher.

He worked at the North Ogden Canning Factory, as a chauffeur, and as a commercial delivery driver for Cream O'Weber Central Dairy.

Boyd will be remembered by all who knew him for his hard work ethic and concern for his family's welfare.His favorite thing was to spend time with his family.He enjoyed camping, gardening, and was an avid sports fan.He enjoyed watching football, basketball, and golf.He cherished his family and friends, and will be remembered for his good nature and willingness to help others.His generosity and love will never be forgotten.
