  Justin BerkJustin BerkJustin was born in New York City but raised just north in the Southern Catskill Mountains and Hudson Valley.
  
  He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Cornell University , and received the seal of approval from the American Meteorological Society of which he is still an active member.
  
  He started his career in the Meteorology Department at WS in Syracuse and spent two years at WBNG in Binghamton , N.Y. as the morning and noon meteorologist.While there , Justin took part in the School and Business Alliance where he developed an Educational Outreach Program with weekly visits to local schools and senior centers.
  
  Justin teaches a meteorology course at Villa Julie College.He kicked off Newschopper 11 Traffic Reports for WBAL-TV.
  
  He also hosted the Children's Miracle Network Telethon.
  
  Justin enjoys snowboarding , running , hiking and playing softball.
