Trevor has over 20 years experience in Stockbroking and the Investment Banking Industry. Prior to joining Argonaut, Trevor held the position of Head of Corporate Finance and Operations for Tolhurst InterFinancial in Perth, Western Australia.

Trevor has extensive experience in equity capital markets having facilitated many transactions within the resource and oil and gas sectors, and within the mid-cap industrial sector primarily in mining and engineering services.

His experience includes advising and servicing corporate clients on strategic opportunities such as mergers, acquisitions and divestment, and facilitating capital raisings. Trevor has cross border experience on AIM in London.

Trevor Benson, Director Trevor spent 5 years in major Australian corporate treasury operations before joining the finance sector in 1989. Since then he has been involved in the finance and stockbroking industries. Before joining Tolhurst InterFinancial in 2006 he acted as State Manager for Bell Potter Securities, working in Equity Capital Markets, having started their operation in Perth in 2000. Prior to this he established and worked in the Perth operation of Potter Warburg where he specialised in Equity Capital Markets and primarily serviced institutions both in Australia and internationally. Trevor is a director of two listed companies in the oil and gas, and resource sectors. During his career in corporate finance Trevor has been actively involved in bringing many companies to the ASX and international exchanges, and in mergers and acquisitions within the resources and oil and gas and engineering sectors.
