Mr. Bennett manages one of the country,s largest and most comprehensive in-jail addictions treatment programs, serving adult inmates of the Duval County jail system.Mr. Bennett is responsible for the provision of prevention education, court liaison services, a 108 bed modified therapeutic community, and an intensive one-year, case managed, aftercare program.The program employs approximately 30 professional staff members and has been in existence for approximately eleven years, providing services to thousands of individuals annually.
Mr. Bennett has served on many national, state, and local coalitions, boards, and committees addressing behavioral healthcare needs.Mr. Bennett has earned a Masters of Business Administration degree in Healthcare Administration and a bachelor,s degree in Sociology and Psychology.He is a Certified Addictions Specialist; an Internationally Certified Addictions Counselor; a Certified Criminal Justice Counselor with a Master Counselor Endorsement; a Certified Forensic Counselor; and a Licensed Health Care Risk Manager.
