Junior Varsity Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Bender begins his 9th season on the State College coaching staff.
Prior to joining the State College program as a Volunteer Assistant with the Jr. Varsity team, Coach Bender worked with youth and junior high school age players for 12 years prior to joining the staff at State College.
A graduate of Clearfield Area High School, Coach Bender participated in basketball and track.
He is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and is retired from Penn State after serving more than 30 years as a graphic designer.
