  Dennis Bender coached his final game leading the Shaker high football team Thursday night - a 29-28 loss in overtime to Bethlehem in a Class AA crossover game.

  In six years as Shaker's varsity football coach, Dennis Bender compiled a record of 20 wins and 34 losses. He worked hard to promote his players with the media and I found him to be a stand-up guy.
