Matthew studied GCSEs and A Levels at King's School in Ottery St Mary, Devon and then chose to study a BA (Hons) Business Management degree at the University of Derby for several reasons, foremost of which was that he wanted to undertake a degree that offers a placement year.He felt that by having a placement year he would gain valuable work experience, a better knowledge of business and also have more material for his dissertation.
