As the Associate Pastor of Christian Education, Pastor Bellamy oversees the Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry and Adult Ministry, which includes the Bible Institute and Spiritual Growth classes.In addition, Rev. Bellamy directs Fellowship Christian Academy, a private school of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship.He is charged with ensuring efficient operations, a rigorous and competitive academic curriculum, and the spiritual development of children attending the school.As an associate pastor, Rev. Bellamy supports the Senior Pastor in the areas of preaching, teaching, training and pastoral care of members.
Christian Education, as one of the four vital experiences, seeks to create a church that teaches the knowledge and application of God's Word.Rev. Bellamy's role is huge,equipping and maturing saints for the work of the ministry, which teaches members the Word of God, Bible study techniques and practical applications of God's Word to one's life.The Christian Education ministry is discipleship and has a direct effect on the church's mission of "discipling the church to impact the world".
Rev. Bellamy has extensive experience in pastoral ministry and Christian education, nonprofit administration, human resources, and keynote speaking.His God-given talents include strong presentation, organization and communication skills along with the ability to manage an organization's operations and programs effectively.Rev. Bellamy holds a Masters of Theology degree with emphasis in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary.He is married to Patricia and they are the proud parents of one daughter, Faith.
