Dr Bell is a VicHealth Public Research Fellow and a Senior Research Fellow at Deakin University.Colin has post-doctoral training in nutrition epidemiology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and postgraduate training in nutrition and physical activity intervention design and evaluation from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.He currently manages the Sentinal Site for Obesity Prevention in the Barwon South-Western region of Victoria - a program that aims to build the programs, skills and evidence for preventing childhood and adolescent obesity.Colin has worked as a consultant for the World Health Organisation on a childhood obesity prevention project in China, and his work in New Zealand was with Samoan church communities with a high burden of Type 2 diabetes.
