Clare Bell received a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music and has played with ProMusica Chamber Orchestra since 1980. Ms. Bell is also a 7th-grade teacher at the Arts Impact Middle School and is currently involved in a study on reform in mathematics education. She frequently participates in chamber music performances with her husband , Richard , who is a cellist in the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
Yun Zhang was born in Yunnan , China and began to study violin at the age of five from his father. In 1995 he entered the Shanghai Conservatory of Music where he served as concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra. Zhang entered the School of Music at Indiana University in 1998 where he studied with Henry Kowalski and Stephen Boe. In 1999 , he was the winner of Ohio University's School of Music soloist competition and became a member of the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra.
