   Joan read an email from Carolyn (LA office) noting that several Fact Sheets were updated and are now available.
   ...
   Carolyn Bell Sambhi, LRF Director of Patient Services, presented information about how LRF helps patients and their loved ones. There are various information and support programs which are described in a fact sheet she distributed. She also distributed a new booklet Understanding Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma: A Guide for Patients.
   
   She presented an interesting "PowerPoint" slide show describing services available and how to obtain them. She also fielded several questions on the patient services programs and lymphoma in general. She explained the Lymphoma Support Network and how to apply to either receive or give help.
   
   Carolyn explained the 9th Annual North American Educational Forum on Lymphoma which will be held November 12-14 in San Francisco, California and handed out flyers. Several chapter members plan to attend.
   
   She noted that the network of LRF chapters expects to raise $1 million this year.
