    Brian Bell
    ...
Brian's interest in birds began when he lived in California where he was working as an environmental consultant."The biologists who worked on my team weren't always along on our site visits, so I wanted to be sure for myself that the birds were accurately identified," he comments.Brian led field trips for Sacramento Audubon Society for around 15 years before moving to Seattle.A Master Birder and a member of the Master Birder program committee, Brian has been a field trip leader for Seattle Audubon for many years, leading trips to Sequim, Ocean Shores, Whidbey Island, and eastern Washington. He also teaches classes for Seattle Audubon and leads birding field trips to the San Juan Islands for Elderhostel.

When he isn't leading field trips, Brian does consulting work as an urban planner.Asked about the focus of his field trips, Brian replied, "I try to see that everyone on the trip, especially beginners, gets a look at the birds and has a good time."
