Prior to founding Be Brave Fundraising Consultancy in 2006, Brian Bell was Director of Fundraising and Marketing at St. Oswald's Hospice in Newcastle upon Tyne, where he was responsible for raising £3.5 million per annum. He was also instrumental in a £5 million capital appeal to build a new children's hospice.
Brian has sat on various charity committees including the Institute of Fundraising North East and PROMARK - a national committee set up to maximise the effectiveness of national fundraising, public relations and marketing activities of 173 independent hospices throughout the UK.
