Bellimage Inc. is a company formed in 2000 by filmmaker Brett Bell to create his unique film and television projects.Bellimage also provides creative services for the film and television industry.
Brett Bell is a filmmaker and director based in Regina, Canada, in the heart of the Prairies.
At 16, Brett was nominated for a Canadian Cable Television Association award for the first television programme he directed, Asphalt Safari.
At 17, Brett was hired as an ENG camera operator and editor for CTV (the Canadian Television Network).
At 22, Brett was directing episodes of the nationally and internationally-syndicated fishing programme, The Complete Angler.In the same year Tears of a Clown: The Maredrew Tragedy, his third-year project produced at the University of Regina's Department of Film and Video won awards for Best Drama and Best Director at the Saskatchewan Film and Video Showcase.
Since that time, Brett has honed his skills in a variety of technical and creative areas, winning awards not only as a director but as an editor, sound designer and composer.
Recently, Brett directed episodes of the children's programme Prairie Berrie Pie for Global Television, the musical performace special Gerhard the Tuba for CFMT in Toronto, and the hard-hitting documentary The Wars Against the Roma for History Television.
His short films Strike Me Silly and Blueberry have been seen in dozens of film festivals and broadcast internationally.
