Benjamin BellVice President, GE Wind Energy LLCMr. Bell is a Vice President in GE Wind Energy's Commercial Americas group.Mr. Bell joined GE Wind Energy in 1996 as Director of Research & Development and has over twenty-three years of experience in the wind industry.In 1998 Mr. Bell was promoted to Vice President, Engineering and in these capabilities, he managed and directed the manufacturing and installation of over 700 Zond Z-Series wind turbines.In September, 2001 he was appointed to Vice President, Wind Facilities Operations responsible for managing the operations of the company's Americas fleet that included over 3,200 wind turbines and 1200 MW.In May 2002, Mr. Bell was appointed Vice President of Offshore Sales where he offers the leadership and support to offshore commercial sales and development activities in the Americas.Prior to joining GE Wind Energy, Mr. Bell was Vice President of Engineering at FloWind Corporation in San Rafael, California, and Engineering Manager at Kenetech Corporation, Livermore, California.In 1999, Mr. Bell received a Technical Excellence Award from the American Wind Energy Association.
