   Dr. Bell is also a Non-Executive Director of Pharmaceutical Profiles Ltd and of Maccine Pty Ltd.Dr. Bell holds a first degree in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds and a PhD from CNAA (London).

   Dr Angus Bell joined Pharmaceutical Profiles Ltd as a Non-Executive Director following the MBO of the company in 2005. He also acted as interim Chief Executive Officer until the appointment of Dr Mark Egerton.
   
   Angus has more than thirty years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry including a number of strategic and management roles at Quintiles and Glaxo. At Quintiles, the global leader in pharmaceutical services, Angus was Chief Operating Officer for Preclinical Services and General Manager of Early Development and Laboratory Services at their Edinburgh facility. Additionally he established an early development consultancy service within the company.
   
   Prior to Quintiles, Angus worked at Glaxo where he made significant contributions to the design and development of several marketed medicines (ZantacÔ, ImigranÔ, ZofranÔ and SereventÔ). After the formation of Glaxo Wellcome, he led a programme to re-design the key business processes of R&D including drug candidate selection, clinical development and new product delivery.
   
   Angus is also a Non-Executive Director of Fulcrum Pharma plc, a services company that designs and implements drug development programmes. He also serves as Non-Executive Director of Maccine Pty Ltd, a Singapore-based preclinical services company.
