   Shauna grew up in Clarkston, WA, the oldest of six kids. She attended BYU-Hawaii where she became intoxicated by the smell of the ocean and the teriyaki burgers you can only get at Hawaiian McDonalds. She graduated from BYU-H with a BA in English and went on to get her master's degree from Provo's BYU in creative writing. Shauna works part-time at BYU as an instructional designer but loves being "mama" best. She and her husband have three children; Kaleb 2, Leah 1 and newborn Zackary. When Shauna's not tripping over toys or watching "Bug's Life" she likes to write, read, scrapbook and dabble in art projects. She's currently the nursery leader in the American Fork 18th Ward, American Fork Utah Stake, USA.
