Dan Belk Named Procurement Manager for Foremost Farms' Indianapolis Region
Foremost Farms Field Representative Dan Belk has been promoted to the position of procurement manager. He will be based out of Foremost Farms' Indianapolis office where he will oversee the producer programs, hauling policies and field staff in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. Dan will also be responsible for bulk fluid customer relations, the Indianapolis office staff and the central milk testing laboratory. He will report to Mike O'Brien, director of procurement and regulatory affairs.
Belk has been with Foremost Farms since 1992 and he is currently a field representative assigned to the cooperative's Sparta plant. Belk graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with bachelor's degrees in ag business and ag economics.
In 1998, Dan was president of the Wisconsin Field Representative Association. He currently serves on his church council. Dan and his wife, Nicole, live in Viroqua with their three children - Hannah, 8; Adam, 4; and Lauren, 2 weeks. They will be relocating to the Indianapolis area..
