Chris Belk, Director of Management Information Services

Chris Belk has been with SML since July 1998.He and his staff are responsible for developing and maintaining all of SML's computer, telecommunications, and e-business systems and services.He brings a wide range of information technology experience to the company, including over 15 years with other transportation and manufacturing companies.A native of Joplin, Missouri, Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Science from Missouri Southern State University in 1988.He serves on technology boards for Missouri Southern and Crowder College.He also currently serves on the Administrative Board for First United Methodist Church in Joplin, and is a past member of the Board of Directors for Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Jasper and Newton Counties.
