Alec Belisle,CHRONICLE PUBLISHER
...
MILLBURY, Alec Belisle prides himself on being the only 65-year-old Ph.D. in Worcester County with a paper route.
Mr. Belisle retired from teaching at Becker College last year, and recently he has decided it's time to give up the paper route as well.
Publisher of The Millbury-Sutton Chronicle, Mr. Belisle and his wife, Andree Belisle, the editor, have sold the 21-year-old weekly to The Holden Landmark Corp.

Later, the paper moved to the enclosed porch area, and ultimately to 117 Elm St. Their son, Alec, was the paper's photographer and advertising representative for a while.
The paper is printed on Wednesdays, the only day that offered the Belisles any rest, and was delivered on Thursdays.
"Some Wednesdays, we would just drive to New York and back again just to relax," said Mrs. Belisle.
Now the couple plan to see more than just the New York state line. While the couple plan to travel, Mrs. Belisle also plans to spend more time gardening and Mr. Belisle more time woodworking.
